Private and Small-Group Walking Tours in Dubrovnik

Really enjoyed this 90 minute or so walking tour of Dubrovnik. Our guide was welcoming and hugely knowledgable about her beautiful city. The pace of the tour was just right (on a very hot day) and we found out a lot about the history and culture of the city. The personal story of our guides father taking the photo of the local artist whose house was bombed during the war was particularly interesting - see photo. Our tour comprised 6 people, with a group maximum size of 8, so quite personal with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. An excellent experience all round and a million times better than an impersonal walking tour of a group of 30 or 40 people wandering around with headphones, etc.

We were fortunate enough to have what turned out to be a private tour as there was only the two of us. Marko was an informative, knowledgeable and entertaining guide always considerate enough to find a shady spot before pointing out important landmarks and associated legends. We learnt a lot. Marko is a GEM! The tour was fascinating because he was able to make the history and near history come to life. We were engaged the entire time despite the heat, with his humor, facts, and friendly quizzes. I would go on any tour led by him! The majesty of the old city and wall is inspiring!

Marko was a fantastic guide. He provided such interesting local insights, so much information about Dubrovnik’s history and he kept us engaged with fun quiz questions along the way! So interesting to have a tour from someone who lives in Old Town Dubrovnik who also has a great sense of humour.Highly recommend this tour!

We were on a tour with local guide Marko and history is very rich and interesting. We had some games for points, for example find St Vlah (and there is many of him). I would recommend tour. 👌😊
